About Pratul
Pratul Kumar is the founder and lead travel researcher behind Golden Journey, an independent travel blog focused on practical, detailed and experience-based travel information across India and beyond.
His writing draws on personal travel experiences as well as experiences shared by friends and members of his family and wider personal circle. These real-world experiences form an important part of the research behind Golden Journey. The aim is to keep the content grounded in situations travellers actually encounter rather than relying purely on generic descriptions or imagined scenarios.
Travel Philosophy & Expertise
At Golden Journey, Pratul believes useful travel writing should answer the practical questions that arise before and during a journey—where to go, when to visit, how to get around, how long to stay, what to expect and how to plan a realistic budget.
The guiding principle is simple: travel information should be based on real experiences, careful research and practical observation—not hypothetical or imaginary travel scenarios.
